Merry Christmas everyone...

These days are kinda busy for me, shopping for prezzies etc. Ok maybe not entirely for prezzies coz i always end up getting stuff for myself instead. Gosh how can i not, coz when i choose things for friends, i have to like the item first before i pick it up...so when i like it means it probably suit me more than for the person i intended to get for...oh wells, its the holidays season i should pamper myself right? haha...I just had our annual christmas party with the gang. We went Oosh at dempsey and 2am dessert bar at holland. The desserts are amazing but costly as well. It was really great to have all of us having our gathering and catching up. i havent load the pictures yet. its like even i had time, i was pratically lazy. hehe...

i have loads of events coming up..busy busy... and i have yet to get many prezzies though, so i'm really happy that im its an off day for me tml and i can shop! woohoo...long long weekend...till boxing day. Soon i will have to find time to sit down with my lappie and a cuppa coffee to reflect the amazing 2007. The year has passed so quickly and soon I will embrace the coming 2008.

picnic date

This happened about 2 weeks back, I had a date with the boyfirend. We both took a day off to spend quality time with each other. We were planning to have a pinic at the west coast recreational park. So morning, I woke up to prepare lunchies packed nicely for the picnic, while the boyfriend is in charge of drinks. (cause he can't cook)…ohh but it isn't really a such a brilliant idea to organize a picnic date during the rainy season. By the time we reached clementi, it was drizzling. I was determined to go still until it started to pour…booooo!!! What a letdown…but the rain hasn't taken our smiles away…we headed home instead, had an indoor picnic and watched Superman 1, the very orginal superman by christopher reeves. After which, we headed to esplanade ichiban boshi for dinner with the gang to celebrate wj's bday in advanced. Felt really happy and blissful that day even when its such a simple affair. I hit the sack with smiles of course…

The boyfriend called to ask for my address...and it immediately created some curiosity to why would he need my address for. Silly me had that thinking that maybe he wants to send flowers to me...hahahah...oh wells, its because he needs to put my name onto his travel insurance as contact person for any case of emergecy...at that time though i told him, why put me...but actually i felt happy that he thought of me.

I hear alot of wedding bells going on around..proposals during the fireworks display 2 weeks ago was no longer a surprise to hear. Proposal rings of huge diamond sizes with great carats and a two months' pay seems pretty normal now...People around me are getting hitched! its like time passes so fast, that we are all adults (like really adults) changing our last name setting a family with their love one.

On the other hand, i hear of breakups, love turmoil, issues, fights of couples...sigh...this is called life...which contains the different flavours of life, the sweet, the bitter, the sour, the spice. Nevermind, everything that happens, it happens for a reason...it could be a blessing in disguise.

Happy 6th Anniversary

Today is the boyfriend's and my 6th Anniversary. It has been an amazing 6 years together going through ups and downs. There are fustrating moments but there were joy brought along as well. These years we shared, has been an amazing journey, him being there for me when im down, encouraging me when im at my lowest. I appreciate and thank god for giving me him.

If you ever stumble to this website...shoplah.com.sg...please do not get cheated. Although it is a registered company, my friends and I have tried purchasing their goods online and the quality is disastrous. It is not at all alike with what we saw on the website images. The shipping also dragged to 3 4 weeks when it stated 1 week shipping time. Later on, Su found out that there are alot of complaints abt him already...and he has another website that was set up by him claiming he is from china and his goods are imported....etc...

I think other brands websites are more reliable like victoriassecret.com! i like! =P my purchases with shi hui already arrived and i'm loving it! =P *bleams* Being said that, my pocket is also depleting its resources, just got a top from warehouse sale, mango jeans and gap tshirt. =P more shopping??? anybody wants opi nail polish spree???

18th July - My king's birthday

The past two weeks has been busy busy…lots of outings with loved ones. First. It was daddy's birthday, gave the family a treat and made moi king especially happy. Hee

28th July - Shopping & Simpsons Movie @ Vivo (with the boyfriend)

Kickstarted Saturday morning with pasta mania early lunch, then shopping and movie with the boyfriend. Even though it was short time spent, we had a marvellous time getting to spend some time together especially when both of us are getting busy busy. Afterwhich we went to watch The Simpsons Movie, the show was hilarious and cute, we both had a good laugh and enjoyed it.

28th July - NDP Preview '07 (with bestie pei hui)

Saturday then continued with the ndp preview which pei hui managed to get hold of the tickets last minute and kind enuff to spend the day with me! (honoured). Remember a few years back, my first ndp participation was also with her and of course we were excited. We both agreed to suit the theme and wear red! Started queuing up at 5…squeezing with the crowd, get a goodie bag and get to our seats. Luckily, the day ended it's rainy mood early so we didnt had to watch the performance feeling wet. The day wasn't hot as well, it was such a perfect day!

The goodie bag was much better a deal than the previous one I would say. I am especially fascinated with the small electric fan that has lighted wordings "Happy Birthday Singapore" when its on. We also had faciful hats of different animals like ph got the animal king, lion and I had the fluttery butterfly…whheee its so exciting to join the country's affair getting to feel the pride of Singapore. The weapon display performance was great, however the dance performance was abit of a let down. Last but not least, the performance ended with manificent fireworks display which was extremely beautiful, especially the ones that shoots fireworks at the 3 tall buildings on the right. After the performance, we went shopping at marina and supper at geylang with ph n hh, the night ended with us having a full tummy and a big grinz on our face. =)

I am feeling lots of love and blessings this week and I am really grateful from the bottom of my heart, God has been really kind towards me, by giving me blessings his own way, own time, mapping my path for me.

Sometimes life isn't that smooth sailing, but you never know that maybe it could be a blessing in disguise or he has other bigger plans for me. I really thank God for what I have today, Family, Friends, Love, Career. All these are indeed essential in everybody's life, these are what keeps us moving towards the future with a positive mind, a happier self. I thank God for every little thing and the gracious love he has showered upon me. =P

I am also grateful for the little things that the boyfriend has done to make me a happier person. A way to show that he cares out of his busy schedule, a way to ~~revive~~ maintain the sparks in our relationship. The love he shows bit by bit starts developing into a greater sense and this has bring me to feeling all my love for him to evolve. Besides, the boyfriend bought me the 'Bumble Bee' through hard search when I casually said I want to own one! hee...so how can I not feel loved?

the past weeks has been pretty crazy...rushing off for deadlines bla bla...working late almost everyday. Today is friday! i love fridays! its raining right now, and the office is quiet and its giving the 'holiday' mood. i really envy those who gets to shop officially while working, read fashion magazines on the first day of work, checking out sites, its so exciting and of course i think my friends' pocket are also burning at the same time. But its so fun! Still being unclear with what holds in the future, what is right for me..finance or marketing...i guess i'll just let nature to its course...

on a lighter note, my cousin's getting married tml! We thought of many funny, weird and interesting ways to 'takan or sabo' the groom...haha its going to be so fun! alright more details later...ciao!

its 17 more days before my darlings in perth to be back...woohoo....miss them so much...and gonna be lots of meetups and since they are going to work near me...lunch is inevitable...that includes you joshua!

After the fall that injured my feet, my feet hasn't really recovered and theres still abit of swell and hurts when pressure is add on. Thus i'm unable to fit my feet into my heels...its so upsetting...when you try to fit into the heels it hurts a hell lot...WHEN WILL IT RECOVER??? arghhhhhhhh....

I finally have the time to blog or you can say i'm not feeling lazy to blog about my date with the boyfriend on 19th May. In the day, we went to watch "blades of glory" which is a comedy...rather funny and light show. Then went to shop around Vivocity and got really great deals at the Marks & Spencer sale...managed to get a pair of they say limited collection heels for 20 bucks...=) bought a nice set of lingerie...and we headed to the altivo at mt faber for our dinner.

The food there wasn't fantastic but the ambience is nice...maybe if we just went there for snacks and drinks, we wouldn't be spending so much on 'okay only' food.

Yesterday, the sister called suddenly to say she misses me and wanted to look for me...

awwwww....i wish we could have more time together.

oh wells because of this simple sweet gesture, and i thought something had happened to her or she was upset, me being nice and guilty of being unable to accompany her, had offered to sponser her something. That put a smile on her face!

I had a haircut at NEXT @ Holland 2 weeks back and I'm loving my hair! The senior hairstylist, Willie, gave me a much softer look by cutting off those thin layered hair, displayed his skills by giving the old parting which emphasize my squared head looks livelier by making it rounder.

And of course, with a naturally wavy hair, I have to blow dry my hair to put it in place. I used to think its a hassle but now I can't go out w/o blowing my hair...=P

Nh got interested and is planning to try him out soon and I'm planning to bring my sister along when I'm feeling richer since she has endless complaints about her hair, which is what she hates the most right now!

Oh yes, I'm loving my fringe! *winks*
